About Rebecca
Hello! I’m Rebecca Spellman, owner of Foodwell.
To say I am passionate about food, human behavior, health, and wellness is an understatement. However, I have not always been this way. Throughout my childhood and adolescence, I struggled with nutrient deficiencies, disordered eating, and depression.
When I was 21, my weight was at it’s highest, and my health and relationship with food was at it's worst. This was the point where I realized I could no longer keep repeating the same thoughts and behaviors that were keeping me from living my best life. I made the promise to myself that I would commit to making healthy, positive changes every day that would make me feel amazing, both mentally and physically. I kept my promise - and that was 40 pounds and 15 years ago.
My new promise is to share with other people the knowledge I have learned and continue to apply to my own life today that has healed my relationship with my body and how I nourish it. We are meant to live harmoniously with food, not against it.
